The Great Divide

  • Memorial Park Library 1221 2 Street Southwest Calgary, AB, T2R 0W5 Canada (map)

Renaissance composers mastered writing music with multiple independent voices while Baroque composers created and developed a vastly different style with one soloist and accompaniment. Join soprano Hannah Pagenkopf and Chamber Muse Historical Music Society of Calgary for an exploration of these two styles and decide which one is your favourite. It won’t be an easy choice!

We'd like to acknowledge the generous support we've received from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts. Thank you!
